You said “talk about literally anything,” and I took that personally, mostly because I’m on cup number three, and at this point my bloodstream is 80% espresso and 20% poor decisions.

Let’s start with the basics: I firmly believe coffee should count as a deductible business expense. It’s not a luxury; it’s an operational requirement. Without caffeine, I wouldn’t just miss deadlines — I’d forget what day it is and probably start introducing myself as “Pending Review.” Every “quick coffee catch-up” somehow turns into an unpaid group therapy session where two adults with Wi-Fi and unresolved trauma talk about impostor syndrome, layoffs, and how their boss uses the phrase “circle back” like it’s a religious chant.

And then there are the bad ideas, the ones that sound brilliant after the second latte. Like starting a podcast at 2 a.m., signing up for a “fun run” that turns out to be 10 miles uphill, or messaging a recruiter with “so how’s the corporate chaos treating you?” just to feel alive.

By cup four, I’ve made peace with my choices. Because let’s be honest, half my career milestones happened because caffeine whispered, “Do it,” and I didn’t have the energy to argue.

So yeah, let’s talk about literally anything. Bonus points if it’s fueled by coffee, chaos, and that fragile confidence that only exists between sips two and six.
